We had a wonderful night out in Sacramento in June at our first-ever meetup — everyone met a new colleague and learned something new! So let’s repeat the fun in good ol’ Davisville.
As always, our events are open to professionals and students from all aspects of science communication — including journalism, public affairs, research, education, photography, illustration, design, IT and library science .
We hope to sustain these professional networking socials as regular events. Help us grow our new community, and see you on July 18th!

Parking is mostly hellish in downtown Davis, but a nice spot is the parking garage on G Street and 4th Street, for the movie theater/USDA building. There is a reasonable parking fee for extended parking. Another idea is to park in the other movie theater garage on F Street and 2nd Street.
Other than that, the Davis grid is pretty walkable, so you’ll be fine even if you have to park quite far away.
And of course… when in Davis, you can bike as the Davisans…
The bar is also a short walk from the Davis train station.
