Join us for our April happy hour mixer in Sacramento, and catch up with fellow professionals and students in journalism, public relations, creative, policy, public science, and research.

Our CapSciComm Board of Officers will be present — and commemorating this anniversary, we will reaffirm our mission and vision with a new Statement from the Board reflecting on the impacts to the practice of science and communication today.

Four years ago, we created CapSciComm to encourage the exchange of ideas and opportunities across all fields that intersect with the need and practice of science communication. And as Sacramento continues to lead California, and as California continues to lead the United States and the world, we science journalists, writers, and communicators have great responsibility to do good work and help inform our government, industry, and citizenry.

So let’s drink to science — and let’s spice up science for the Capital Region! Please RSVP to help us plan, and we’ll see you on April 12th in Sacramento.
