Abstract: Know your chocolate: where and when it came into being and subsequent uses. Chocolate oozes through nearly 5,000 years of human history from earliest Native American Amazon rainforest rituals to 21st century chocolate products. The story of chocolate is more than good flavor, taste, and texture — it reflects human cultural practices in ways too many to count. Attend the presentation and participate in the chocolate tastings!
