Hello science communicators! We are pleased to present and facilitate an online social on Tuesday, October 20 from 7-9pm PDT. This will be an awesome opportunity to get to know the new Executive Board and network with fellow scientists, students, writers, policy makers, and journalists!
Our theme during this social will be discussing the new CapSciComm committees. Committees are an opportunity for CapSciComm members to volunteer their time to a specific function or mission of the organization. Are you in the field of science policy and want to help connect others in the Capitol region? Are you interested in helping to set up a mentorship program? Passionate about science journalism? These committees offer members a chance to have a lasting impact on CapSciComm and the science communications community in the Capitol region.
