For several years now, Science Says has emerged as a high-impact, graduate student-driven group uniting science communication enthusiasts on the UC Davis campus. With funding support from the UC Office of the President Global Food Initiative, the Institute for Food and Agricultural Literacy, and the Innovation Institute for Food and Health, @SciSays has taken a number of leadership roles in our Capital Region — notably working with the Powerhouse Science Center and CapSciComm to launch and operate the Sac Science Distilled science café series for Midtown Sacramento.
We’re excited to join with this band of fellow Science Peppers for our hot summer mixer. As always, CapSciComm Networking Socials are open to all professionals and students whose work intersects with the communication of science — whether you work in journalism, public affairs, creative and marketing, policy, outreach, or scientific research.
